Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Automotive / Embedded System validation engineer to join our team. The system validation engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of embedded systems, cloud functions and mobile apps in our products. You will work closely with our development team to conduct testing, identify issues, and contribute to the delivery of reliable and high-performance end to end systems.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Validation: D Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded systems, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
  • Test Environment Setup: Set up and maintain test environments, including test beds and testing equipment.
  • Issue Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance and stress testing to evaluate system capabilities under different conditions.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that modifications and enhancements do not introduce new issues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to understand system requirements, design, and architecture.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality assurance process and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automotive and embedded systems testing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in automotive and embedded systems, microcontrollers, and realtime operating systems.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools. CAN, microcontroller, vehicle, infotainment system, cluster is a plus
  • Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in embedded systems (e.g., C and C++).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting (e.g. Python).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
