Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, setting clear expectations for quality standards, testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Test Strategy Development:Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy and test plan for telemetry cloud solutions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and nonfunctional testing. Gain a deep understanding of product requirements
• Test Automation: Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and scripts for regression, load, and performance testing. Create an automated framework for validation and reporting.
• Test Case Design: Design, create, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets. Build comprehensive test frameworks and test cases.
• Quality Metrics: Define and monitor key quality metrics, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations, to align on quality objectives and deliverables.
• Issue Tracking: Manage the defect tracking process, from identification to resolution, and ensure proper documentation and communication. Prepare and publish formal test and validation reports for a range of products and teams
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and methodologies. Actively participate in providing feedback to the development team and product management, contributing to product enhancements.
• Compliance: Ensure that telemetry solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Flexibility and Availability: Be flexible in adhering to the product development schedule and demonstrate high availability to drive the team toward delivering a high-quality product. This revised version provides a clear breakdown of the responsibilities and expectations for the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Senior or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, cloud-based, mobile application telemetry solutions, IoT technologies, and related protocols.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in scripting languages like shell, python, jquery, etc. Tools like JIRA, Git, task management tools, power BI, MS XLS, Doors, Confluence, etc.
• Excellent understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• Having Automotive background
• Having driving license of 2 and 4-wheeler is a must, having international driving license is a plus.
