Job description

Responsibilities:

• Automotive Strategy: Develop and execute the automotive strategy for our aftermarket solutions. Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to define the direction of our automotive product offerings.
• Product Portfolio Management: Lead the management and expansion of our automotive aftermarket product portfolio. Drive the development of new products and enhancements to existing products based on market demands and customer feedback.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, product managers, and business development teams to align automotive initiatives with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative environment to facilitate effective communication and decision-making
• Industry and Market Analysis: Stay updated on emerging automotive technologies, industry regulations, and market trends. Analyze competitor offerings and benchmark our products to ensure competitiveness in the market.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations with key players in the automotive industry, including OEMs, suppliers, and technology providers. Drive business development efforts to expand our reach and customer base.
• Automotive Standards and Compliance: Ensure that our automotive products and solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive customers, understand their needs and pain points, and gather feedback to drive product improvements and customer satisfaction.
• Technology Roadmap: Define the technology roadmap for automotive products, considering advancements in hardware, software, telematics, connectivity, and data analytics. Drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies into our product offerings.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of automotive professionals. Provide guidance and support to foster a high-performing team culture, professional development, and knowledge sharing.
• Financial Performance: Collaborate with finance and business units to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of automotive product lines. Drive profitability and growth targets for automotive aftermarket solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role in the automotive industry, preferably in the aftermarket sector or related automotive technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of automotive technology, industry trends, and market dynamics.
• Experience in product portfolio management, strategic planning, and business development in the automotive sector.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
