Key Responsibilities:

• Test Coordination & Execution
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple domains, including hardware, software, mechanical, cloud/backend, mobile applications, and vehicle compatibility.
  • Oversee end-to-end feature testing, OTA testing, compatibility testing, and device functionality validation for multiple projects and customers.
  • Ensure timely test execution, result analysis, and report publication.
• Test Automation & Debugging
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Python preferred) is an added advantage.
  • Analyze logs and investigate issues reported during testing or by customers as part of RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) or Field Application Engineering.
  • Provide live debugging support for new feature development and change requests.
• System Testing & Validation
  • Conduct full system testing of firmware before every factory or maintenance release, including:
  • KPI and performance validation
  • Security, power management, and state management testing based on ignition states
  • GPS, sensor, and vehicle function validation
  • Plan, track, execute, and report on vehicle compatibility testing.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Analysis
  • Work closely with Business Analysts/Product Owners for products in development and maintenance phases.
  • Gather and analyse new requirements and change requests, ensuring alignment with stakeholders from device, cloud, app, and web portal teams.
  • Categorize requirements into Must-Have, Should-Have, Could-Have, and Would-Have for effort estimation.
  • Update test cases and test suites to accommodate evolving product changes.
• Customer & Field Support
  • Act as the interface between the test team and Program Management.
  • Support technical demos and live debugging sessions for new customers.
  • Provide on-site test support, including vehicle drive tests, critical product launches, and customer escalations analysis.
  • Job requires ~30% travel to customer and ODM partner locations.

Key Qualifications & Skills::

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years in a Test Lead role.
• Strong understanding of automotive product validation and system testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle compatibility testing.
• Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary test teams and engaging with Program Management.
• Willingness to provide on-ground support for in-vehicle testing and critical launches.
• Valid driving license and vehicle driving skills.
• Experience with automotive product validation (e.g., Dashcams, Telematics devices).
• Familiarity with CAN simulation tools and test automation frameworks.
• Experience in working with different Automotive OEMs.
