I think you see what I mean. Imitation is one thing but creating low-quality counterfeit products and selling them as though they’re originals is another. Pioneer headquarter takes various measures to restrict fake products from entering the market. Unfortunately, the issue of fake products still exists. Counterfeiters are becoming clever and it's difficult to identify them.

Pioneer always makes best in the class speakers by following the best practices of the global sound entertainment industry. Fake speaker available in India are of much lower quality than the genuine Pioneer speakers which makes the vulnerable to breakage and short circuit. 1. Specification Icon

The font of the specifications mentioned on the fake products is comparatively smaller, thinner and different in color when compared with the original products.

2. Hologram sticker

Pioneer uses only one 3D hologram sticker (green one). All speakers by Pioneer have this 3D hologram sticker. Fake speaker normally use the silver one which is not used by Pioneer anymore.

3. Packaging design & MRP sticker

MRP sticker is available on the box of all Pioneer Speakers. Lately, some fake speakers also have MRP sticker, but information mentioned on them is less than genuine.

4. Warranty card, Serial number & Name label

Pioneer genuine speaker will always have a warranty card inside the box. Serial number & name label of speakers is always mentioned on it. We recommend you would check warranty card & name label of speakers before the shop persons installs it in your car.
Example - Both are genuine warranty card.

Always remember to check that serial number mentioned on the product is same as mentioned on the warranty card.

5. Other differences

When compared the fake speaker with the original one can see many differences in terms of material and quality like Cone color, production method, wire, spider, frame shape, and etc.
You can also identify the fake products by the low quality of their box and label. If the shopkeeper offers you a price which is much lower than the MRP or price offered by other shops, kindly be alert and check speakers carefully.
